I stand in cold silence as the rain sweeps across the ground in sheets,
A crimson glow before me, casting silhouetted trees in sanguine haze,
As I'm quietly reminded of my insignificance from all of my defeats,
As I'm there alone by myself to softly look upon the crimson blaze.
Deep within my soul within my heart within my chest is solitude
As the cawing of the crows fills my ears with the melody of dusk,
And as my eyes water with tears of tomorrow, I am wholly subdued
By the thought - the unbearable pain - of knowing I'm but a husk -
The shadow of what was a person, but who has become a monster;
A beast brought about by xer own introspection
